Within an ever-changing conflicted world intent on dividing and discriminating, Zehra aims to create work that evokes familiarity, comfort and belonging. Her practice involves narratives around identity, language, and ancestry. She works with various mediums and is interested in exploring how each medium can create individual storylines. Her intention is for her art to not just be pieces on A wall but as a bridge between the past and the present.
